Remember back when I was talking about this anime series that I started watching called Bleach?
Oh I am so addicted to it. The problem is - the series doesn't seem to end!!!! I'm on episode 49 of 150!!! Yeah, that's a lot of viewing time when considering I"m working full time and going to school full time. Where do I find the time you might ask? Well - I have cut out sleep. Sleep is a waste of time, I mean, it just makes you feel rested right? So I just don't rest.
Bleach is definitely more fulfilling than some stupid extra hour of sleep hehe...
Seriously though, consider watching it if you like anime. It's an awesome series. Oh and just because it's an animated series, does not mean that this is kid friendly. There is a lot of violence and blood.
I have had a cold for about 8 days. It has been brutal.
I tried to bake my friend Seth a Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free, Soy Free birthday cake, because well... he's allergic to all of the above!
Here's the disaster:
(the link reveals more detail of the fiasco)
I am never making gluten free cake ever again! What a nightmare!!!
I even made my own icing of crushed pineapple and confectioner's sugar. Right now I'm trying to rebake the disaster. What happened was I thought it was baked through, but when I went to flip it over, the whole thing came out on the counter top. So I scooped it back in, and now I'm attempting to cook it.
I know, I'm crazy, but I only bought 1 box of this mix. I hope this works.
Who are you voting for?
I have no idea who to vote for. This year I have to say, I'm completely unimpressed with the running mates. Seriously, I spend every morning reading the Wall Street Journal before I go to work, I read the Economist, and I search online for their platforms. It's amazing. Their platforms are terrible. Hillary wants us to have 100% healthcare for everyone. Sounds great doesn't it? It also sounds unrealistic. Do you realize what that will do to our taxes? And why should I pay higher taxes when someone else is ruining their health by smoking or gorging themselves on trans fats? I don't agree with her platform. Obama's platform is all warm and fuzzy. He wants us all to get along, and open up doors for minorities in business. That sounds like affirmative action to me. Not that it's a bad or a good thing, but it's already happening. I'm not sure what more he plans on doing. I kinda like McCain, partially because I find it hilarious that the republicans hate him.
Also I've noticed that they don't call it a platform anymore. now they call it "talking points". Weird. I guess that's so people feel they have something to talk about when discussing politicians.
I have a feeling that people this time are going to vote on feelings rather than facts. They are going to vote on who they empathize with more. And that is sooooo not the way to vote for a leader. But I guess that's what we've resulted to.
